Welcome to Jigsaw Speech, Language and Literacy located in the western suburbs of Brisbane and dedicated to helping kids; speak clearly, take part in conversations, read their favourite story, talk without stuttering and communicate in socially appropriate ways. Are speech pathologists different from speech therapists?
No.Whilst there are several different titles used such as speech-language pathologist, speech therapist and speech pathologist these are typically used interchangeably. In Australia people graduate as speech pathologists.
What do speech pathologists do? And can they help with my child who is struggling to read?
Speech pathologists assist people across the life span with communication, feeding and swallowing.
